Music of Kentucky

Music has been an integral part of Kentucky culture for years, with the most prominent being bluegrass. What is bluegrass music? It's a blend of blues, country, and jazz that pulls from numerous cultures, completely harmonizing in an emotional sound.

Some of Kentucky's greatest attractions are focused on its music, and while bluegrass is the local specialty, you are likely to find any kind of sound you want served up. You may also learn a thing or two about the history of American music while you're here.
