The Hazard-Perry County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday for Hazards newest business, a Bed and Breakfast called Harmony House. Owner Sherry Spradlin said the business, which boasts three private suites, opened on Thursday. The business is located at an historic house at 300 Broadway in Hazard. The house was originally built in 1922, Spradlin noted, and once held a musical conservatory,St. Cecilia's.
Great place to stay in Hazard. The Harmony House B&B is relaxing and the hospitality is outstanding. We had spinach omelettes for breakfast along with local roasted coffee. The inn keeper is very knowledgeable about the area and one of the nicest people you will meet. Better than any hotel in Hazard.
