The PILLOW AND PADDOCK is a casually elegant new country inn located 22 miles north of Louisville in Oldham County. The Bed & Breakfast is just a short drive from historic La Grange in Kentucky's outer Bluegrass region complete with picturesque rolling hills, lush pastures, beautiful estates and thoroughbred horse farms. Each beautiful and uniquely appointed bedroom has a king or queen bed complete with the highest quality Simmons mattress available. All are fitted with custom-made duvet covers housing hypoallergenic down-alternative comforters. Thick, thirsty towels, plush bathrobes, hair dryers and imported toiletries are standard bathroom amenities. In addition, all bedrooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and complimentary WiFi. Ceiling fans or chandeliers are found in every room. Each floor of the Inn is separately heated and air-conditioned although all windows are screened and can be opened. The guest lounge & pantry is available to guests 24-hours a day and offers complimentary hot and cold non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. There is also a microwave, refrigerator, game table, movie and music library, cards, games and reading materials. Weather permitting, outdoor lovers can dine on the wrap-around porch or back veranda. Occasionally, breakfast can be eaten outside and shared with deer, wild turkeys or Canadian Honkers munching in the pasture. Afternoons and early evenings can be spent playing croquet, horseshoes or engaging in a "corn hole" tournament with the Innkeepers or other guests. Take a cool drink to the front porch if you'd rather watch from one of the rockers.
