The two-story, three bay brick home sits on a hand laid limestone foundation, with massive Doric columns. The first floor center hall plan features large parlors on each side of the entry foyer, a formal dining room, a kitchen, and a sleeping porch.
The Denny House offers a unique opportunity for the traveler to get away from modern-day hustle and bustle and to step back and relax into the time of the Victorians. It is a great venue for bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, anniversaries, small bridge groups, teas, private dinner parties, small family gatherings, and club or office retreats.
"My wife and I had the great fortune to not only spend the night at Denny House, but to meet the owners, Mark and Amanda and son Porter as well. The house is a true gem and lovingly tended to by a wonderful Innkeeper, Vicky...who could be a chef in any restaurant if Mark and Amanda hadn't snagged her first. The breakfast of eggs Benedict, sausage, hash browns, fresh fruit and homemade pumpkin muffins was wonderful and simply topped off a truly comfortable night in the Fitzarran Library room. We highly recommend the Denny House!"
