Northern Kentucky
Visit Punkyville: a Wild West-themed town built by one man.
Learn about Barrens topminnows and Big Sandy crayfish at the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery. You can also fish here if you have a Kentucky fishing license and trout permit.
Have a picnic at Mill Springs Park after looking at a large water wheel.
Enjoy a gorgeous view of the Cumberland Falls at the General Burnside Island State Park. Yahoo Falls, the tallest waterfall in Kentucky, is also nearby.
